Many of the barterings that Luke did such as cleaning out the neighbor’s garage in exchange for help with wiring the tiny home, were vital for the completion of the project. Luke also mowed another neighbor’s lawn in exchange for help with putting a carpet in the loft bedroom of the compact house. Despite the help of these neighbor’s, it was essentially Luke’s own initiative that kept the process running smoothly. No one was going to carry him through this process!

A Proud Father

Greg Thill is unquestionably an extremely proud father. His 13-year-old son has achieved so much through unwavering determination. Despite the ups and downs of the project and times when the building was put on hold until Luke could raise more money, he would not give up on his dream to build a tiny house. Few adults could even muster this much courage and strength, let alone a boy who had just become a teenager recently.
